Dallas hit and run kills elderly woman, police searching for suspects

Police are searching for two drivers involved in a fatal hit and run in Dallas on Friday afternoon.

According to police, a black Chevrolet Impala and a yellow Chevrolet Camaro were racing south on 10100 Ferguson Road when the driver of the Impala fatally hit a woman.

The drivers did not stop to help the victim and instead fled the scene. The Impala involved is believed to be a 2014-2020 LTX/Premier model with chrome side mirror caps, chrome body side molding, and may have suffered damage to the front passenger headlight and fog light.

The victim's identity has yet to be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner. However, according to NBCDFW, the victim is believed to be 73-year-old Linda Pearson.
