TCU sprinter Baker takes fifth in Tokyo Olympics 100M final

At the Tokyo Olympics, TCU sprinter Ronnie Baker finished fifth in the final of the 100 meters. Fellow American Fred Kerley took the silver.

En route to the final, Baker recorded a personal best in the semi-final of 9.83 seconds.

El Paso-born Lamont Marcell Jacob took gold with a time of 9.8 seconds. Jacob was born in El Paso but moved to Italy as a young boy.
