
An innocent man is dead after Dallas police say a 14-year-old sped through a red light in a stolen car early this morning.
Police say the 14 year old car jacked a woman Tuesday evening. They noticed the vehicle around 1 a.m. on South Buckner Boulevard.
They tried to pull the driver over, but he sped away, leading them on a chase.
Th chase ended at the intersection of Great Trinity Forest Way and Wadsworth Drive, when the stolen car’s driver ran a red light and slammed into an Impala. The driver of the Impala was taken to the hospital but didn't survive.
The 14-year-old driver of the stolen vehicle will be charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, evading arrest, unlawfully carrying of a weapon and murder.
Two other juveniles and one adult were also taken into police custody.
The victim of the crash has been identified as Cordell Jackson.
