On Sunday reports say a Spring Break party was underway at a party venue called The Space Dallas on Botham Jean Boulevard near Highway 175.

Police say there was a confrontation and someone, perhaps more than one person, opened fire into a crowd from across the street.

Ten people were wounded by the gunfire while others were trampled by the panicked crowd.

Police say the critically wounded victim, an 18-year-old man, was rushed to the hospital. The other nine ended up at various hospitals throughout the morning, taken by private vehicles.

Police spent most of Sunday morning on-scene collecting evidence including dozens of spent shell casings. Detectives have not said if they have a line on who did the shooting.
