Volunteers with Texas Baptist Men are taking their message of hope and healing to Uvalde.
TBM Director of Disaster Relief David Wells says volunteer chaplains are offering support to the grieving community.
"Everybody's hurting in different ways, and that's what we're there for," Wells said. "Just to listen and be there for them."
Volunteers from Plano are being joined by others from San Antonio, Houston and Corpus Christi. They’re assessing the need first and could send for more help in a couple of days.
