The Texas Department of Public Safety has named Gregory Jon Pecina Jr. of Grand Prairie as the "featured fugitive" for the month of April.
Texas Crime Stoppers has increased the reward to $4,000 for information that leads to his arrest if the tip is received this month.
Pecina, age 37, has been wanted since November of 2020. He was warrants for aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, aggravated robbery and kidnapping. He has additional warrants for a parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender.
He was convicted in 2014 of aggravated sexual assault of a child. The case involved a victim who was 13 years old at the time. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison and released in 2019.
The DPS says Pecina has ties to Grand Prairie, Granbury and California.
