Parker County (1080 KRLD) - The Parker County Sheriff's office says it has caught the man who set off an Amber alert two weeks ago in Ennis.

25-year-old Marcus Nast was found in a Weatherford motel.

On July 1st, Ennis police say Nast and the child's biological mother took the 7-month-old boy from his father, 21-year-old Joey Lee Ramirez, at gunpoint. The mother, 20-year-old Faith Reid, was found in Parker County with the child in a pickup truck that had run out of gas. She was arrested for felony aggravated assault. Nast fled on foot.

Ramirez was later arrested on July 3rd on an outstanding warrant for a family assaultive offense, following which the child was placed in the temporary custody of family members.

Meanwhile, Nast was arrested without incident according to the Sherriff's office.
