Dallas water utility workers discovered a body in a field in Oak Cliff on Tuesday, police say.
The workers flagged down a police officer and led him to the body, Dallas police said.
Police determined it was a homicide, but there was no identification on the body so the Medical Examiner will have to determine who it is.
The investigation into the murder is ongoing.
