Day 2 of the capital murder trial of Yaser Said, the former Lewisville man accused of killing his two teen daughters in 2008, has concluded.

Wednesday, jurors heard from the first police officer to arrive at the scene where his daughters were found shot to death on January 1st, 2008. Officer Richard Bracey told the jurors that he opened the door to check for signs of life but found none.

Said is charged with capital murder in the shooting deaths of his daughters, Amina and Sarah. Investigators say he was upset that they were dating outside their Muslim faith.

If convicted, Said would automatically be sentenced to life in prison.
