The rain continues across north Texas and with it the increasing potential for flooding and water rescue calls coming in to several fire departments around DFW.
One of a few already reported includes the Fort Worth Fire Department responding to a swift water rescue call at 700blk of Bent Oak.
Johnson County currently under a flash flood warning until 10:15 p.m. also attending to several water rescue calls according to their Johnson County Emergency Mgt Twitter account. They are warning people to avoid the area east of I-35 and north of Hwy 67 at this time as they have responded to three water rescue calls in the last 30 minutes.
Even the Parker County Sheriff’s Department is dealing with flooding issues. Water could be seen both inside the building, and high in the parking lots. The department lost phone service for a short time.
