A 17-year-old suspect is locked up and charged in a White Settlement shooting in which a 14-year-old was wounded.

Reports say the younger boy told police who the shooter was, and police started looking. On Friday night, police started canvassing the streets and early Saturday they found the 17-year-old in Fort Worth.

Police pulled over a pick-up truck and arrested Mason Stopps on a charge of aggravated assault with deadly weapon.

The victim has a gunshot wound in the leg but police say he's recovering. The 14-year-old told police Stopps shot him for talking to Stopps' ex-girlfriend.
