A woman has been killed in a late night crash in Wise County.
Officials say just past 10:30 p.m. a car and a pick-up truck smashed into one another on Highway 380 just east of Lake Bridgeport.
Police determined a car ran a stop sign and slammed into the truck that was hauling a gooseneck trailer east-bound on 380.
Reports say the woman driving the car was ejected from the mangled wreckage and was dead at the scene.
The man and woman in the pick-up were rushed to the hospital. He was ejected through the windshield and she was trapped in the wreckage. Even so, their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
