This international competition is celebrating its 23rd year of connecting student dancers to elite dance schools and companies. Young dancers will have an opportunity to win scholarships and be scouted.

Hailey Kolker with YAGP says it's really a showcase of the best of the best from around the world. They've traveled everywhere from Paris to Mexico, Italy to Korea. Dancers will perform different styles of dance including classical ballet, character, and contemporary dance.

North Texas Auditions began Thursday and will continue until Sunday, January 30th for Performers, ages 9-19.

You can watch the competition online for free at yagp.org or check out their Youtube channel.
