The thought of stricter gun laws is growing among Americans, especially after the shootings in Uvalde and at the grocery store in Buffalo.
A new poll from Morning Consult and Politico says 59 percent of people say it's important to pass tougher gun laws. Only 32 percent say they're not needed.
This poll was conducted after the Buffalo shooting and prior to the Uvalde school shooting on Tuesday.
