Russian lawmakers today authorized President Vladimir Putin to use military force outside the country. That comes as the U.S. says Russia has invaded parts of Ukraine already.
President Biden announced the U.S. will put heavy financial sanctions against Russian banks and oligarchs. He's declaring that Moscow had flagrantly violated international law by that invasion into two Russian separatist regions in Ukraine.
