According to KPRC, Secretary Becerra says HHS will provide grants for clinics and resources that outline protections for health care personnel. The statement also says the feds will offer reinforcement of legal protections for pregnant individuals or persons experiencing pregnancy loss in Texas.
Last week, The Department of Justice filed suit against Texas over SB8 claiming it was passed in open defiance of the Constitution and U.S. Supreme Court rulings.
