Longview High School Principal James Brewer has died from a heart attack Monday night.
The Longview school district says details regarding memorial arrangements and ways to honor Mr. Brewer’s memory will be communicated in the coming days.
A statement from the district calls Brewer "an exceptional leader, mentor, and friend to all who knew him."
Brewer has served as Longview principal since 2008. James Brewer was 65-years-old.
