The two survivors of the crash in West Texas that killed seven members of the golf team at the University of the Southwest are making progress.
Dayton Price, 19, of Mississauga, Ont., Canada; and Hayden Underhill, 20, of Amherstview, Ont., Canada; are being treated at University Medical Center in Lubbock for their injuries suffered in the head-on crash Tuesday night on FM 1788 in Andrews County.
Nine others - six golf team members, their coach, and the two in the pickup that crashed into their van - were killed.
The golf team was en-route back to their campus in Hobbs, N.M., after competing in a tournament in Midland.
The crash has obviously hit the school community of about 1,200 very hard.
"We're going through the stages of grief, we're dealing with it," Dr. Ryan Tipton University provost said, "and we're making sure that our faculty and staff and our students deal with it."

Dr. Tipton says the tragedy has brought the community together.
"Everybody's a Mustang right now to us," Tipton said. "We always talk about the USW family, the USW campus community being a family. I think for all of us, we just weren't aware of how extensive that family is and could be."
Since the circumstances surrounding the crash may never be known, Tipton does not envision any procedural changes in how school teams travel to events out of town.
"I don't suspect that a traffic accident that we can't explain would change the way that teams travel," Dr. Tipton said.
University president Dr. Quint Thurman is keeping a close eye on Price's and Underhill's progress.
"He's actually over in Lubbock," Dr. Tipton said, "sitting with the families of the two that are being treated for recovery right now."
The members of the USW golf team killed in the crash are:
Tyler James, 26, Hobbs, N.M. (golf team head coach and driver of the Ford Teansit van)
Travis Garcia, 19, Pleasanton, Tex.
Karisa Raines, 21, Stockton, Tex.
Mauricio Sanchez, 19, Mexico
Tiago Sousa, 18, Portugal
Laci Stone, 18, Nocona, Tex.
Jackson Zinn, 22, Westminster, Colo.
The Ram 2500 pickup truck was driven by Henrich Siemens, 38, of Seminole, Tex.
He had a 13-year-old boy in the truck with him at the time of the crash.
