Ground stops at both of North Texas' major airports were lifted after severe storms moved through the area early Friday.

A ground stop was issued at Dallas Love Field until 7 a.m. and at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport until 7:30 a.m.

While neither airport reported widespread cancellations due to the weather, most inbound and outbound flights were delayed by at least 30 minutes, according to the flight-tracking website FlightAware.

Additionally, as of 7:30 a.m. Friday, more than 1,000 North Texans were without power -- nearly 400 in Denton County and nearly 900 in Parker County, according to Oncor.
