Our triple digit heat will continue over the next 7 days with a very slight chance of a shower storm today. After that, we dry out until possibly the end of next week into the following weekend.

Nothing is showing up on radar at this hour and temperatures have fallen into the upper 70s and mid 80s. Partly cloudy conditions today with a very slight chance for a shower storm. High temperatures near 101°. South Winds will blow at 10 to 20 mph keeping that grass fire danger in place.

More triple digits are on the way this weekend through all of next week. Highs tomorrow and Sunday will be around 102°. 103° to 104° next Monday and Tuesday. 101 to 103° Wednesday and Thursday. By Friday of next week, there's a very slight chance for some showers and storms returning to the area. That trend will continue into next weekend, with slightly cooler temperatures. At least that's how it looks right now.

Know your heat safety rules and please remember about the high grass fire danger when tooling around town or working on your property.
