PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Camden County arrested a man accused of robbing a McDonald's in Berlin Township early Friday morning.
Authorities said the robbery happened shortly after 6:30 a.m. at the fast-food restaurant on Route 73 in West Berlin. William Alvarado Jr., 42, allegedly entered the restaurant wearing a mask, demanded money, and fled on foot after receiving cash.
Investigators used surveillance video from multiple locations to track Alvarado to his home in West Berlin, where he was taken into custody.
Alvarado has been charged with second-degree robbery. Court proceedings are pending.
