Edilberto Moctezuma, 25, was sitting down with his family for Thanksgiving dinner at a home on the corner of Arch and Basin streets when a bullet came through the window and killed him.

Kevon Clarke was arrested and charged with murder in December. Now, police say they have charged two more men with the murder: 19-year-old Savian Creary and 20-year-old Tymere Parker.

Creary was taken into custody. A warrant has been issued and authorities are searching for Parker.

According to charging documents, Clarke was dating Creary’s ex-girlfriend. The three were at a different Thanksgiving celebration earlier in the day. Court documents say a witness testified before a grand jury that Creary and Parker caught a ride with her to Clarke’s house that night. They exchanged gunfire and drove away.

None of the men involved in the shootout were injured, but investigators say it was one of their bullets that killed Moctezuma.

He was the second person in Norristown last year killed by gun violence he wasn’t involved in.

Barry Fields, 51, was killed by a stray bullet in September. Police say Fields was sitting on his front steps on Astor Street when a gun battle broke out down the block.
