SOUTH JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — It’s just four days until Election Day, and votes have been pouring in all week at New Jersey’s early in-person voting sites.

Throughout his campaign and in two debates, Gov. Phil Murphy has emphasized how it’s been an honor to serve the people of New Jersey. That’s why he’s asking for four more years on the job.
He pointed to his work navigating the state through the pandemic. New Jersey was among the leaders in state vaccination rates.
He’s also proud of the way his administration has delivered on promises of social justice, climate change mitigation, and affordable housing.
Several top Democrats, including President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and, most recently, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, have visited the state to help drum up support for the incumbent governor, who is holding on to a lead of between 6 and 11 points, according to several recent polls.
KYW Newsradio invited the governor to a one-on-one conversation about his re-election efforts. His campaign staff initially agreed but have not responded to repeated attempts to set up the interview.
Murphy faces Republican Jack Ciattarelli on Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 2. Read more about Murphy’s challenger and listen to a KYW interview with him below.
