Original story below:

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities are searching for a man they say shot a baby and teenager at his wedding reception over the weekend in the city’s Harrowgate neighborhood.

Philadelphia police say Santos Diaz had just been married Saturday and was celebrating in the backyard of a home on Ontario Street near Emerald Street, with family and friends, all through the night.

On Sunday morning, around 10:30 a.m., officials say, Diaz, 45, said something inappropriate to his 17-year-old stepdaughter. When the girl’s brother stepped in to defend his sister and his mom, investigators say, Diaz tried to shoot him, grazing the teen’s hand and shooting a 10-month-old girl in the hand.

In total, authorities say, he fired four or five shots.

The baby was taken to the hospital and is expected to physically recover. Police say the teen did not need aid.

Police are actively searching for Diaz, urging members of the public to submit a tip by phone or text at 215-686-8477, or by email at tips@phillypolice.com, with any information about where he may be.

Diaz has two prior arrests including an aggravated assault and DUI, but he was never convicted.
