
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 16-year-old was one of two people killed in at least six shootings in Philadelphia Sunday night.
The boy, identified as 16-year-old Keivon Abraham, of Abington, was found shot in the head near North 13th and West York streets just after midnight.
Hours earlier, around 9 p.m. in Frankford, four people were shot near Kinsey and Mulberry streets. A 66-year-old man was killed. Three 15-year-olds were injured. They are currently in stable condition at the hospital.
A 28-year-old woman was shot in the foot at Morton and East Mechanic streets in East Germantown around 9:15 p.m. She is in stable condition.
A 23-year-old and a 19-year-old were shot near 52nd and Race streets around 10 p.m. and are also in stable condition.
A 31-year-old woman was dropped off at the hospital around 12:30 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the knee. Police don’t know where the shooting happened, but she is stable.
And around 4 a.m. Monday, police were called to North 13th and Ruscombs streets in the Logan section of the city for a report of a shooting. They found a man with a gunshot wound laying in the street next to a Dodge Challenger with Florida license plates. He was taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition.
Police have not made any arrests in any of these shootings.
