PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A deadly shooting in North Philadelphia was caught on camera over the Labor Day weekend. Now police are asking for help from the public identifying the suspects, hoping the video can help lead to an arrest.
In the video, a vehicle, described as a burgundy Chevrolet Malibu Maxx hatchback with a rear sunroof and custom rims, pulled up to West Indiana Avenue and 4th Street on Sunday, September 5.
Two men got out of the car. The driver was described as being in his mid-to-late 20s, wearing light colored designer jeans and a short-sleeved shirt with the word "HUSTLE" across the front. The passenger was in his early-to-mid 30s, wearing dark brown glasses and a red Nike t-shirt with "DO IT" in white writing across the chest. He carried a dark colored shoulder bag.
An argument took place, before the two men began shooting. A man in his 50s was seen running down the street before he was shot multiple times.
Police said that man died from his injuries. Investigators have asked for help identifying the two men and the vehicle.
A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Authorities ask anyone with information to call the homicide unit at (215) 686-3334 or (215) 686-TIPS.
