PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia detectives are investigating three homicides overnight — two were shootings and one, police say, was an intentional hit-and-run.
Authorities say shortly after midnight, a white Cadillac purposely struck a 41-year-old man along Westmoreland Street, near Aramingo Avenue in Port Richmond, and then drove off. The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he died.
About an hour earlier, a 28-year-old man was found shot in the back along 56th Street, near Market Street, in West Philadelphia.
Then in Manayunk around 1 a.m., a 41-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds to the chest and back, but investigators are not sure of the exact location of where he was shot. He later died at the hospital.
No one has been taken into custody.
