In a new study from U.S. News & World Report, San Jose, California was named as the second-best city in America to raise a family.
The South Bay city came in behind only Huntsville, Alabama in the study and was the only California city in the top 25.
Despite the median cost of a home in the city being $1.5 million, San Jose earned high scores in median salary among residents and took the study's top spot in quality of education.
The top 5 was rounded out by Green Bay, Wisconsin, Fayetteville, Arkansas & Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota.
