The Texans' magical season ended Saturday in the AFC divisional round against the Baltimore Ravens due to an overmatched offense and a defense with no answers for the NFL MVP.

Baltimore defeated Houston 34-10 to advance to the AFC Championship game, while the Texans go into a promising offseason after defying outside expectations.

Houston won the AFC South, despite the preseason suspicion it would be among the worst teams in the league. Instead, the Texans won 11 games, including a home playoff matchup against the Cleveland Browns prior to losing to the Ravens.

On Saturday, Baltimore was just too much and Houston could not get out of its own way. The Ravens outgained the Texans 352-213 yards and had 22 first downs compared to Houston's 10. Neither team turned the ball over, but the Texans had 11 penalties for 70 yards, compared to the Ravens' three penalties for 15 yards, and Houston's only touchdown came on special teams - a 67-yard punt return by Steven Sims.

Otherwise, it was all Baltimore. The Texans and Ravens traded field goals in the first quarter before Lamar Jackson found Nelson Agholor for a touchdown in the second quarter. Sims' punt return helped tie the game before halftime.

Then the Ravens just took over in the second half. They outscored the Texans 24-0 in the second half.
