(SportsRadio 610) - Texans first-year head coach David Culley said he's not focusing on his future job status, rather the next opponent and trying to improve the team.
At 2-10 and officially eliminated from the postseason, this first year under Culley and general manager Nick Caserio has been abject failure.
Caserio took responsibility for his part in the situation Tuesday when he spoke with Payne & Pendergast. He also declined to publicly endorse Culley for a second season, saying the coach's evaluation would come after the season.

Culley was asked about this Wednesday during a press conference and said he's fine with the situation.
"I’m very comfortable," Culley said. "Every day we come into this building, all we think about is doing the best thing we can do to help this football team get better. All we think about is the next opponent, every day when we come in and when we leave."
Despite so many issues with the Texans' roster, Culley said he does believe he's been put in position to succeed, but the staff hasn't done well enough coaching.
"And that starts with me," Culley said. "Yeah, we are in a position to succeed. There are games that we’ve played that I felt we should have won, and we didn’t win them."
