Texans second-year wide receiver Tank Dell is back on the practice field just three weeks after suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.
Dell was observed running routes and catching passes at Texans' practice Tuesday morning, the first day media observed voluntary organized team activities.
Dell, who also played college football at the University of Houston, was shot in the leg at a private event in Florida on April 28. He was treated at a hospital and shortly released. Dell returned to Houston the next day and appears to be ready to play.
He was already recovering from a broken leg suffered Dec. 3 against the Denver Broncos. In 11 games, Dell caught 47 passes for 709 yards and seven touchdowns.
