(SportsRadio 610) - Texans head coach David Culley said Wednesday that when Tyrod Taylor returns from his hamstring injury, he will be the starting quarterback.
Taylor is still working his way back from a hamstring injury sustained in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns.

In a game and a half, Taylor completed 31 of 44 passes for 416 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.
Texans general manager Nick Caserio acknowledged Wednesday morning on Payne and Pendergast that Taylor was playing extremely well until the injury.
Texans rookie third-round draft pick Davis Mills has started the last three games at quarterback and played the second half at Cleveland.
The results have been mixed.
Against the Carolina Panthers, he completed 19 of 28 passes for 168 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions. But the Panthers defense overwhelmed the Texans offense, Mills was sacked four times and they only scored nine points.
Mills threw four interceptions in a 40-0 loss to the Bills in Week 4. He played his best game last Sunday against the Patriots; 21-for-29, 312 passing yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers.
There is a healthy debate among fans and media about whether the Texans should spend the rest of the season seeing what they have in Mills.
How he performs could inform whether and when the Texans decide to draft another quarterback as they look to replace Deshaun Watson long term.
Culley said Taylor gives the Texans (1-4) the best chance to win.
"He’s our starting quarterback," Culley said. "He was our starting quarterback when he went down. He was doing an excellent job, and when he comes back, he will still be our starting quarterback."
Earlier Wednesday, Caserio was more reluctant to hedge on the future quarterback decisions.
When Seth Payne asked asked Caserio how many games it might take to gain an understanding for what Mills is, the general manager wouldn't put a timetable on it.
They're judging Mills' performance while he's out there and, at least according to Culley, going back to Taylor.
