Following up the announcement of her impending album’s first single, “Vampire,” out June 30, Olivia Rodrigo took to Instagram to share the album's title, release date, and what is most likely the cover.

“my sophomore album GUTS comes out september 8th. i am so proud of this record and I can’t wait to share it with you all! u can presave it now! xoxoxoxo❤️💜💌🖤,” Olivia captioned her post.
As for the image, it's similar to her blockbuster debut record SOUR, which also features a purple backdrop. The singer is seen lying down wearing red lipstick, a lacy black dress and four letter rings on her fingers spelling out “GUTS.”

Recently opening up about the making of GUTS, Olivia said, “For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life.”
She also notes, “I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20—it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.”
