South Carolina Women's Basketball has become synonymous with deep runs in the NCAA Tournament that continues this year. The Gamecock Women have now advanced to the Round Of 16 for the 11th straight time.
They got their this time with a hard fought, home win over 9 seed Indiana 64-53. South Carolina trailed by one, 26-25 at the half. They opened the 3rd quarter with a 20-7 scoring run. They went 9 of 10 shooting from the floor during that stretch.
Bree Hall led South Carolina with 11. Forward Chloe Kitts had a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards. South Carolina will now head to Birmingham for the Regional, later this week. They'll take on the winner of Monday evening's Alabama/Maryland game.
