BARRINGTON (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - There’s been an arrest made in a water bead gun attack on three students at Barrington High School last week.

A 17-year old boy was walking with his boyfriend in the parking lot of Barrington High School last week when someone fired water bead gun pellets at them. The boyfriend was reportedly hit with such force that it broke his skin and left a welt.

Now, according to the Daily Herald, Barrington police say a boy has been arrested for the attacks. He’s charged with battery and disorderly conduct.

A third student who was hit with a pellet from a SplatRball Water Bead Blaster declined to press charges against the suspect who allegedly was participating in one of the latest challenges on TikTok.
