(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – It was like something out of a heist movie: Federal authorities say a burglary crew was able to rob a Lincoln Park bank branch over the weekend by knocking through a wall in a neighboring building.

Between 12:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday, between two and four suspects broke into the vacant building next to Bank of America, 2163 N.
Clybourn Ave., and then “drilled through the wall to access the vault,” the FBI said in a news release issued Thursday.

A small SUV with a silver or metallic color and a dark sedan were involved in the crime, officials said.

The FBI released surveillance pictures of two suspects.
