(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police have released surveillance images of a man they say attempted to abduct a 9-year-old girl in West Rogers Park Wednesday morning.
The girl was with an adult in the 6600 block of North Damen around 10 a.m. when the suspect grabbed her and started to run away, police said. The girl managed to get free, and the suspect fled. The girl was not hurt.
Anyone with information about the abduction attempt is asked to call Area 3 Detectives at (312) 744-8261.
