CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A man was hospitalized Saturday night after he was shot on a CTA Red Line train in the Loop.
Chicago police said an argument on the train near the Roosevelt stop just after 8 p.m. led a 37-year-old woman to pull out a gun and fire multiple times at a 35-year-old man.
He was taken to Northwestern Hospital in good condition with wounds to his left arm and right hip. Authorities said officers arrested the woman about one block away.
The train was held at the Roosevelt station while CPD investigated. Other trains on the line were temporarily rerouted.
There was another shooting at the same CTA station less than three weeks ago, when a man fought with a robber on the platform.
