CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Four people were hospitalized after a shooting at the Chicago Transit Authority’s 95th Street Red Line Station Sunday afternoon, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

It happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. at the station, which is located at 95th and State Streets. A CFD spokesman said three people were shot, including a 16-year-old boy and two 19-year-old men.

The 16-year-old was taken to University of Chicago Hospital in critical condition, the spokesman said, and the two 19-year-olds were taken to Christ Medical Center in serious condition.

A 44-year-old woman was also hospitalized and treated for injuries she sustained after falling during the shootout. She was not shot, officials said.

One other person refused medical treatment.

A Chicago Police Department spokesman said CPD is investigating the shooting. The circumstances around the shooting were not shared with the public.
