CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Monday is the last chance for Illinois residents to apply for up to $700 in tax rebates.

As part of the Illinois Family Relief Plan, the state is offering two different rebates to qualified residents: one for individual income tax and another property tax.

Residents can get up to $300 in property tax money back. For individual taxes, the state will provide $50 per adult and $100 per dependent, up to a maximum of three in every household.

Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s office said it will take about eight weeks for payments to be distributed.

Although the checks began rolling out in September, those who have yet to receive one may have to complete a 1040 form online.
