Meet Rocco! This4-year-old Mastiff/Terrier mix may weigh 89lb but he is adorably unaware of his size. That means he believes he is the perfect sized lap dog. Rocco is a loyal and loving pup who loves to cuddle on the couch, play fetch and greet you at the door when you come home.

Slice to Meet You campaign: Through March 31
Rocco is part of PAWS Chicago’s new Slice to Meet You campaign that hopes to find forever homes for the animals that have been at the shelter the longest. With help from Piece Pizza, the campaign features flyers of information and photos of adoptable dogs on pizza boxes delivered across Chicago. Simply scan the QR code on your pizza box to learn more about adopting the pup. On top of that, through March 31, Piece Pizza will offer limited-edition menu collaborations with Doug Sohn (Hot Doug’s) & Barry Sorkin (Smoque BBQ), Matthias Merges (Billy Sunday), and Rick Bayless (Frontera Restaurants) where $5 of each specialty pizza sold goes to PAWS Chicago.
#BettyWhiteChallenge
To honor the late actress Betty White and her love of animals, PAWS Chicago will is hosting the #BettyWhiteChallenge, a two-day adoption event for senior pets starting Tuesday, January 17, on what would have been her 101st birthday.
