
(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The same man has robbed at least seven banks at gunpoint in Chicago and the suburbs over the past month, federal authorities say.
At one point, he was sporting a distinguishing feature.

The most recent bank robbery happened Tuesday at a TCF branch in Elmhurst, the FBI said in an advisory asking for the public’s help.
The earliest heist occurred April 7 at a TCF in Arlington Heights.
In the robberies, the suspect showed a weapon and demanded money, the FBI.
The suspect has been dubbed the "Bandaged Bandit" for wearing a bandage wrap just below the left knee.
