CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Firefighters battled a stubborn fire Monday night at a manufacturer on the Southwest side.
Fire was reported at about 7:30 p.m. at 25th and Rockwell, at a pallet company, and a large number of wooden pallets were burning.
Pallets and raw materials were stacked high on the lot. The fire department said the wind was making things difficult and a second alarm was called to bring in more resources. Firefighters used four master streams and six hand lines.
The fire was contained to the outdoor lot.
There were no injuries.
