Replay Lincoln Park has announced their latest pop-up theme: Squid Arcade, which will begin Friday, Nov. 5 and run through Sunday, Nov. 28.
The arcade bar, located at 2833 N. Sheffield, will transform its gaming areas into a Squid Game-inspired haven (or hell) with childhood inspired tabletop games throughout. Plus, there will be weekly karaoke, K-Pop DJ guests on select nights, weekly Squid Game-inspired competitions, a themed cocktails and food menu, a Squid Game costume celebration, and a marbles guessing game.
“The popularity of this show right now is insane, so we wanted to pay tribute and continue the hype with a pop-up inspired by the games for Chicagoans to immerse themselves in,” said Mark Kwiatkowski, owner of Replay Lincoln Park. “Whether you are a guard, a participant, or a VIP, we invite you all to stop by and enjoy some games with some tempting prizes.”
The weekly Squid Game-inspired competitions will include Dalgona Cookie Cutting, Red Light/Green Light, and Marbles, where participants have the opportunity to guess how many marbles are in Replay’s Pig Jar, with the winner winning $583855.00 WON, or $500 in cash.
Additionally, guests can expected featured cocktails named Dalgona, Watch You Temper(ed), They were stones…, The Squid Game, VIP, as well as Red Light and Green Light Shots. A themed food menu will also be available.
The Squid Arcade inspired pop-up is 21+. The event and all of the games are free, with no reservations, tickets, or tokens required.
Replay Lincoln Park is open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays; noon to 3 a.m. Saturdays; and noon to 2 a.m. Sundays.
