(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A 43-year-old Chicago man is now charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of an 9-year-old girl over the weekend.
Michael Goodman, who lives in the 3500 block of North Long, the same block where the shooting occurred, was arrested after allegedly fatally shooting Sarabi Medina.
A struggle over the weapon occurred after the shooting. Witnesses said the gunman was hit in the face with a bullet from his own gun.
Goodman was expected to appear in a bond hearing Monday.
