CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - There was a deadly shooting in the middle of the evening rush on the Southwest Side Monday.
The shooting happened on 76th and Cicero, about 5:30 p.m., in a parking lot at the Ford City shopping center. Chicago police said a man was in the parking lot near the Ross Dress for Less store when he was shot in the head.
He was taken in critical condition to Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn but later died.
No one is in custody and detectives continue to try and determine who was responsible.
