(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A 25-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon when someone in a moving vehicle fired into the automobile he was riding in, Chicago police say.
The vehicle-to-vehicle shooting happened in the Chatham community around 2 p.m. in the 8800 block of South Wabash, officials said.
The victim was transported to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced, authorities said.
No offenders were in custody.
