(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Two North Shore brothers have been sentenced for their roles in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Christian Kulas of Kenilworth and Mark Kulas of Lake Forest have been sentenced to six months probation, which includes 60 days of home confinement. They’ve also been ordered to pay $500 restitution. The brothers had pleaded guilty in December for being in the U.S. Capitol during the attack.
In fact, it was a video taken by Christian Kulas, not to mention his Instagram posts, that did him and his brother in. Federal prosecutors said they received multiple tips about the brothers from people who had seen them in videos, specifically Christian Kulas wearing a MAGA cap and a Burberry coat.
