CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Civilian Office of Police Accountability released officer body-cam videos Wednesday of the police shooting of a 20-year-old woman two months ago in Lawndale.

The videos show 20-year-old Keshawna Davidson behind the wheel of a car that, according to police, was illegally parked, in the 1500 block of South Karlov Avenue.

Police ordered two occupants out of the car, while another officer spoke with Davidson in the driver's seat.

As the officer told her to exit the car, she is seen looking at her cell phone. Then, police said, as she moved, they saw she had a gun, causing the three officers to take cover, COPA said

The video shows officers take cover and then two officers open fire, striking the woman multiple times, COPA said. No one else was injured.

Davidson, who was handcuffed at the scene as she lay bleeding, was treated for gunshot wounds and is now in Cook County Jail. She is charged with felony aggravated assault of a police officer and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
