
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — One woman was killed, and four other adults were injured after a shooting in West Garfield Park early Sunday morning.
It happened just after 2 a.m. Chicago police said officers responding to West Garfield Park found a woman with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital. The Medical Examiner says she was 41 years old.
Four other people were also shot near Washington Street and Karlov Avenue.
Police said two women and two men, who ranged in age from 38 to 40, were taken to the hospital initially in fair condition.
One of the victims told officers the gunman shot from a car. No one is in custody.
Area Four detectives are investigating.
